One easily forgets. Searching through records of my telephone calls on Friday, I came across episodes in the record like this one (on the right): out of fifteen calls, eleven anonymous. I have asked people: "Does this happen to you?" No, they say -- and I am yet to find anyone who has experienced the same. I have not yet worked it out.
OBSERVATION: One thing seems sure: the anonymous calls were not placed by a machine (see elsewhere on this blog). Yet as will be seen from one of the calls shown here (about a funeral), switching off my phone was not an option. (However with "ordinary" calls, I typically hit delete, even before I start talking, hence some gaps in the numerical order).
