This is another photo of (no doubt) indigenous flowers on Table Mountain near my home. OBSERVATION: I am puzzled by the blue fringing in out-of-focus areas of this photograph. The photo, apart from a crop, is unaltered. This is just how my Fuji camera took it. It was a manual shot. You may click on the photo to enlarge.
POSTSCRIPT: Most basically, according to Photo Review: "Chromatic aberration is a lens-based defect that occurs because the refractive index of optical glass varies with different wavelengths." Yet I haven't seen it quite like this.
