This one is rated "mature". Misogyny is all in the news lately, together with sexual misconduct. I myself recently edited an essay on misogyny which was unusually popular: The Challenge of Soft Mysogyny. Yet all my stereotypes evaporated this week when a woman crudely groped another woman, in front of me, in public. The woman at the receiving end smiled and said in a bemused tone of voice: "Jy moenie net so aan my vattie!" ("You shouldn't be grabbing me just like that") and continued with her work. OBSERVATION: A revealing response, because one would not likely find the same in other cultures.
