At last, another Church photo. This is the United Reformed Church in Loeriesfontein (in the background), in the spring. It is about 420km / 260mi north of Cape Town, close to the pans where the next attempt on the world land speed record is to take place. One sees two quiver trees (kokerbome) in front of the Church. OBSERVATION: Interestingly, the town grew around a general store established in 1894 by Fredrick Turner, the nephew of the famous preacher Charles
Spurgeon.
