More than ten years after my last major peer-reviewed electronics article (Elektor May 2007), I completed a draft 4 000-word electronics text today. The text is a major part of an electronics article, however there are several parts besides. There is the block diagram, circuit diagram, PCB layout (not required in this case), tables and graphs, and photographs. Some of these can be quite complex, and must be (very nearly) correct. One then fits these various parts together before submitting to a publisher. OBSERVATION: I have successfully submitted more than 100 electronics articles to publishers, some small, some major -- so I have some feel for what is a "good one". I think this one is. It surely will be a brief comeback.
