Here's something typical of a diverse Church. We instructed a deaconess to write a thank you letter.
She ran it past me before she sent it. I commented that it was a very nice
letter -- warm, well put, spiritually encouraging. Then the
recipient wanted to see me. Was I aware that we were sending out letters like
this? The grammar and
spelling were all wrong, and some of the words weren't even English. The letter
didn't follow the lines on lined paper -- and what happened to a Church letterhead? OBSERVATION: For this reason, it is important, in a diverse Church, to focus on spiritual intent. One could remove certain people from certain tasks, but that would change the nature of the Church. All within reason of course.
