Visitation and Administration Week

Through most of the years of my ministr(ies), I had a "visitation and administration" week. This was set aside for (you guessed it) visitation and administration. I typically said to the congregation on a Sunday: "Now is a good time for me to visit. If you'd like to see me, even if it's just for a cup of coffee, please let me know." At the end of such weeks, we had a guest preacher. Usually, though, I led that service. OBSERVATION: The "visitation and administration" week was four times a year. This was for routine visitation, while every week included visitation of the sick, the shut in (and so on). With some of the usual pressures off me, I could also get to administration in that week.
