God is always doing something good. Negatives in the Church are always in supply in some form or another -- yet in my experience, God's goodness must always be the greater focus. Look what God has done. Look what God is doing. Then one sees wonderful things. Within that context, then, one can address human failings, however described -- sins, injustices, insensitivities, and so on. Without that larger context, the whole is destroyed. Unless human failings are outshone by God's goodness, one will only see decline and collapse.
