The President has been accused of a "credibility gap" between his messages and the reality on the ground. He claims "complete irresponsibility" of the press. Police brutality and racial tension have led to riots in various cities, and looting. The President has responded by authorising the use of federal troops. In the midst of this, a leading activist sums up familiar concerns, "The white race is the cancer of human history; it is the white race and it alone—its ideologies and inventions—which eradicates autonomous civilizations wherever it spreads, which has upset the ecological balance of the planet, which now threatens the very existence of life itself." OBSERVATION: All of the above was 53 years ago -- in 1967. The big question is therefore, how does one change it? Can we change it? Will we report the same in 2073 (53 years from now)? This is why I say to some people today: stop and think. Your radicalism is not enough.
