Kokerboom Tree

It's a kokerboom (quiver) tree at Gannabos. It is surrounded by a kokerboom forest, of which there are very few in the world. It is flowering, too, which (I think) happens only once every five years. Gannabos lies near the ghost town Brandkop. I visited this place in my Indian three-wheel pickup.

POSTSCRIPT: Apparently they flower every year, but they bear their first flowers after about 20 years.
