Borrowing Photos

My photographs -- and those of my father (like this one) -- must have been borrowed hundreds of times. This one popped up on the Internet on Christmas Eve, as an advertisement for the Kiribati Republic. It gives me the picture credit (PC). OBSERVATION: There are two things I notice here. The Church is facing the wrong way, and the steeple is sadly no more. This would be just another Church, if it were not built on an atoll less than 2 square miles in extent, in the remote Pacific. The advert notes that motorboats are banned on Tamana. This preserves the ancient ways.

POSTSCRIPT: I wasn't thinking. Looking at some stats, my photos have been borrowed closer to 100 000 times.
