† Nico Bougas

An influential South African Christian, Nico Bougas, died this week, at the grand old age of 80. He was involved especially in Christian publishing. He started a magazine called IN while I was still in high school. This had a centrefold poster, which I would regularly put up on my wall. I remember only one of them: "TIME IS TIGHT". While this is not the original poster (on the right), it conveys the message. OBSERVATION: I would say he was known as a centrist, with broad acceptance. I communicated with him less than two weeks before he died.
