Haunted by Injury

In 2013, I was badly hurt, though not seriously hurt, when I was attacked in Church (the Church vestibule), and thrown against the great iron fixings of a Church door. At the same time, a prominent citizen died. I was asked to conduct his memorial service, but I wasn't fit for it. I had to decline. Anyway, one of my injuries came back to haunt me this week, so that I have some difficulty walking. OBSERVATION: Looking back over Church history, such incidents are not too unusual. Even today, ministers are considered an insurance risk. My father used to walk with a stick, due to an injury when seeking to calm a dangerous situation.
