Studies in the Wild

Recently I found this photo of wife E, studying for her Bachelor's degree in Theology. We were up on the remote plateau where her parents lived. There was no power, so we powered computers off a diesel three-wheeler's battery, with an inverter (the gold box). A farm hand came by and said, "What's that thing that you're tapping?" (her computer). There was no Internet connection at the time. We had to drive to the edge of the plateau, or climb a mountain, to connect.
