I have often said, "All roads lead to the minister." When it comes to who is doing what in the congregation, or who is saying what, a minister tends to know far more than people think. It's simply a dynamic in Churches, as if the minister were a magnet for such information. What the minister knows may be a
burden to the minister, but it can also be very useful -- in fact mostly is.
OBSERVATION: Strangely, one of the last things that a minister gets to hear is who is sick.
