Hard-Wiring a Church

In my Churches, it was mostly I who repaired or installed electronic equipment. I repaired an organ, installed microphones, built a pre-amplifier, set up a video transmitter, and a lot more besides. Here is something I learnt through experience: hard-wire it all. Whatever the reasons, screw terminals, plugs and sockets, and the like are not a good idea in the Church. OBSERVATION: It may be the humidity in a Church, or the commotion surrounding services -- and often enough, in my experience, people playing with plugs.
