Spiritual Warfare

I remember, in a diaconate meeting, discussing the need for nominees to our diaconate to be able to engage in spiritual warfare. Perhaps one should simply say warfare, as "spiritual warfare" may merely sound like fervent prayer. Some felt that the whole diaconate should be capable of warfare. I said that all should be capable of witnessing it, and not losing their heads. OBSERVATION: This is an interesting subject from a number of points of view. It is interesting that it came up at all. In many Churches, spiritual warfare is in the domain of the minister, and diaconates go no further than instructing the minister to "deal with" someone.
