My father needed to be a competent photographer, to document his and colleagues' work. His favourite camera was (I think) a high-end Rolleiflex. One of his cameras was a Minox -- famous as a spy camera -- which used 8 by 11 mm film. A few years ago, I converted the Minox photos to digital. How did the Minox do? Here's a sample photo from the Minox, taken on a veranda with light from the side. You may click on it to enlarge.
