Writing Progress

This is about where my writing has been going. Back in March, I delivered the Annual Philosophy Lecture in Malta, on Holism. That was 24 short chapters, at Grade Level 8.0. At the same time, I completed a fictionalisation of each chapter, which I appended to each chapter. Appending the fictionalisation brought it all down to Grade Level 5.1. Then I decided to strike the original chapters, and keep only the fictionalisation. That proved to be a long and difficult process. Now I am running each chapter through three AI engines, to tear them apart (see AI suggestions scribbled on my manuscript). This is an easier process. Like this, I have now gone through half the book so far, and brought it down to Grade Level 3.7. This phase should be complete this month. There has been a strong interest from agents. I project that 20-30 agents should request the manuscript (nine so far). The working title is The Lost Philosopher.
