African Funeral

It's a day of video clips today. This is a seven-second video of a country funeral I attended at Suuranys, on a plateau above Africa's southernmost valley the Langkloof. This is a service in the home, before the coffin is taken to the Church, then to the graveyard. OBSERVATION: Notice the bright African colours of the home, and the corrugated iron roof. Notice the head-coverings, and the typical female descant. The beat is also typical for Africa, not necessarily Pentecostal. Behind the coffin are several elders, all of whom preached. And notice the little girl. Children are very much a part of funerals in Africa.
