Posing For Photos

While often I don't get it right, here's a photo where I did get some things right, which would apply more generally. These two couples were posing for a frontal shot when I asked them to fix on a person out of the frame, and I moved to the side. Often that yields a better photo. Also, this photo is taken from below. If it were taken from above, or even on the level, they might seem dwarfed. I further toned down the shadows, which reveals the contours of their faces. OBSERVATION: These are my sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. A click on the image enlarges to 200k.
