All three of these belles speak Afrikaans as their first language, and all three were born in outlying regions of the Afrikaans language. I have wondered whether this is what brings them together. Other friends of this group similarly come from these outlying regions. Once or twice a year they all meet for cook-outs. The one in the middle is a paralegal in Cape Town, with dreams of taking her skills back to remote places. The two on the sides both work as au pairs (et cetera) for wealthy Jewish families in Cape Town. All three have a great sense of humour. Spot the wife.
