There's an interesting quiz at What's Your Leadership Style? My own leadership style, according to the quiz, is participative: “Participative leaders accept input from one or more group members ... but the leader retains the final say when choices are made.” OBSERVATION: I don't know how it can be truly participative if the leader retains the final say. It has been important to me that members have the final say. I remember only one exception, where I said that the Church would go into steep decline if an office-bearer did not go. The reason for a participative style in the Congregational Church is the crucial importance that each member has for the Body, being indwelt by the Spirit.
