Human And Divine

In a Bible study last week, the group discussed the well known passage: “Consider the lilies of the field ...” What were the key concepts? asked our group leader. People gravitated towards: “Seek first His kingdom ...” I said there was something prior to this, which was implicit in all that we were saying: God is omnipotent.  He has to be omnipotent if He's going to "add all these things". OBSERVATION: This serves as a typical example of Western emphasis, which sooner notices human activity than divine. It is of course critical to seek God’s kingdom.
