A Facebook friend just put up a post which quotes a young girl: "The night that my mummy and daddy died, Jesus sat next to me." There are similar sounding accounts in the Bible. For example: "The Lord stood near to Paul." One might dismiss it as people talking nonsense, however I have personally come across similar accounts in ministry. As one example, a woman was in Intensive Care. People said she was not responding, only staring in front of her. She told me afterwards that she was staring at Jesus, who was standing at the foot of her bed. His presence was so compelling that she could not pay attention to anyone else.
