Promoting Diversity

in city ministry, I had a very diverse Church. Depending on the Sunday, it was either majority Black or majority White -- not to speak of diversity of age, status, language, and so on. But some Churches, I find, drop the ball. In spite of aspiring to diversity, they drift into what one sees in the photo: homogeneity. OBSERVATION: This is easy to do. But why does it happen? My sense is that such Churches have not actively promoted people in the Church, regardless of person -- call it ministry by members. Through such promotion, one creates a culture which embraces all.
