Tent Spider

Without seeing what I now see in this photo, I snapped this over the weekend. While it is not the best photo, the content is amazing. What I didn't see was the fine, complex mesh that this spider had spun -- revealed here by the morning dew. OBSERVATION: I discover that this is called a tent web, a non-sticky web, created by a tent spider of the genus Cyrtophora. There is only one species of Cyrtophora in South Africa, so this has to be it: Cyrtophora citricola. One may click on the photo to enlarge.
