Dead Serious

Metaphysics today (which is integrated, all-encompassing philosophy) has become, for many readers, a subject of amusement, beguilement, idle thought, where once it seemed to be a life and death encounter. I hope that my own metaphysic (working title: "Everything, Briefly") will bring back some "dead seriousness" to it all. A best-selling philosophy author -- the writer of 50+ philosophy books -- wrote about my metaphysic: "I had to keep stopping, thinking, reflecting and pacing round the room." OBSERVATION: The philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche wrote: "I understand the philosopher as a terrible explosive, endangering everything."
