Navigator

This one is "just a pretty picture". This man was the navigator on the mission ship the John Williams VII, in the 1960s. I was fascinated by him as a boy -- and in awe of him, because the other side of his face had been damaged. Navigational techniques will be very different today. And this man knew sophisticated techniques of the Pacific, too, which the English did not know. This is English, though -- what one sees here.
