Keyboard Musicians

In the West, there are surely many more trained keyboardists (organ, piano, electronic keyboards) than there are in Africa. It is a frequent challenge for Churches here. During my ministr(ies), we have solved this problem at least three times like this: we appointed a student of music. Students typically think they can't do it, but in my experience they always can. They just need some coaxing and encouragement. And they are especially glad if it is their first wages. OBSERVATION: It's another thing in Churches with more indigenous styles of worship, where people can often play background music by ear, to hymns which are carried by the singing.
