Hunting Dog

It's another photo of a hunting dog, which I took in South Africa's interior. They are kept in cages, and let out once a week to hunt with horses -- above all targeting leopards and caracal. Their extremely loose pelt means that they are generally unharmed in the hunt, which would be very dangerous for ordinary dogs. Day after day, one hears their howls across the veld, from their cages.
