Earlier this year, I had a problem with an officer of the Health Professions Council. I therefore reported her to the Council. She immediately took charge of the complaint herself. She may have dutifully passed it on of course, but that I don't know. This is a frequent occurrence in South Africa, and many people do not understand the principle. Here is a snippet from the Dictionary of Modern Thought. The first law of natural justice is: don't judge (in my case, don't take charge of) a complaint against your own self.
