I am very thankful for the birthday wishes I received in the last few days -- well over 100 so far. I hope to answer each one in time. My one great purpose for this "landmark" birthday was to write an essay on hope. And I did. It wasn't much of a celebration, though, because of a fairly stringent lockdown in our city. My car, too, was overcome by the fog, and wouldn't start. I brought my three-wheeler back to life, and ... to cut a long story short, someone wrote, "I am sorry that you had such a disruptive birthday and hope that better days are coming." Thus another decade began.
