Beru Lagoon

My father took this photo with Agfa colour film in the late 60s, at Beru lagoon. In the photo is my guardian, Temeeti Teiaa. In a letter to his mother, my father wrote about the extraordinary ability of islanders to stare into the distance for hours at a time.
