Kodak Incompatibility

Early this year, I ordered a Kodak device from the United States, to digitise slides and negatives -- mostly those my father took of remote islands more than half a century ago. I had so many slides that buying the device would represent a large saving. Now my father, when he sailed for the islands, took equal quantities of Kodak and Agfa film. Even today I remember him comparing the two. But here's something about a Kodak device and Agfa slides. It only takes Kodak! So I studied the problem for a long time, then dismantled a Kodak adapter. Like this, I obtained an image from an Agfa slide, but have yet to determine whether image quality suffers through it.
