Leadership Style

There's an interesting quiz at Very Well Mind: What's Your Leadership Style? My own style, according to the quiz, is participative. “Participative leaders accept input from one or more group members ... but the leader retains the final say when choices are made.” OBSERVATION: But this result seems self-contradictory. Is that participative or not? In the Congregational Church, the leader is not permitted to have the final say, except temporarily, until something is handed over to the members. There is a reason for a participative style, which is the importance that everyone has in God’s plan.

POSTSCRIPT: Temporary, emergency decisions may be problematic. It takes a little time to hand things over to the members (a few weeks). Those who oppose such decisions may claim that a minister has made a power grab -- something that has happened to me.
