Rankism

I co-edit a philosophy weekly, which is quite a significant publication as publications go (20 000+ page views a month). Sometimes it is a battle to the death to get an article up by our Monday deadline. Other weeks, it goes swimmingly. This week, I obtained an easy-to-read article on rankism -- which is said to be the root cause of many other isms -- and I found it an easy edit, too. But it needs to go through a co-editor still. OBSERVATION: I find that our best writers have the big idea in their heads, and pour their words into that idea.
