Damage Through Severe Cold

Several years ago, wife E had a CAT scan of her head. We met with a specialist together. They found that she had a problem with bones in her skull, easily visible on the CAT scan, likely caused by exposure to severe cold as a child. If that is correct, then it was ultimately the result of apartheid. They said then that they could wait and see, or they could operate. She decided to wait and see. It looks, though, that the wait and see is coming to an end. Sooner or later, she will need an operation.
