I co-edit one of Britain's best philosophy pages (so says Feedspot), which is Pi. Higher up in Britain's top ten is Philosophy Now. It is interesting that, in Issues 1 to 6, they excluded religion from their magazine. In Issue 7, they published their first article on religion. They wrote that this "short, punchy article provoked more letters, articles and calls than any other item so far ... many, many people do care a great deal about matters of religion". See Editorial: On Religion. OBSERVATION: This is most interesting. Over at Pi, we permitted religion from the start -- so long as it was philosophy of religion, and not simply religion. In short, religion is not by any means banished from post-Christian society. It may be more welcome than it has been in a long time.
