I am writing a (for me) important article. This post illustrates the intense work that is sometimes required. In May of this year, Henrik Grum Kjærgaard published a paper which surely represented a big shock to environmental protection: it was about hydrotrioxides. So far, this is easily said. Now put this in an article: in the context of the article, systems theory. The system we have here is ... At this point, an easy thought becomes a major challenge. It is the system of production of isoprene, often with isobutene and formaldehyde. Then, the release of isoprene into the atmosphere unintentionally creates hydrotrioxide, "an extremely reactive chemical". Isoprene is "a big deal", as it is used in the manufacture of synthetic rubber. OBSERVATION: The last three sentences required serious research: many, many pages of difficult, dense, and sometimes obscure material -- and the research is not done.
