Scrubbing

In my experience, ministers will visit people fairly many times who have serious and contagious infections. I remember of my father's ministry, that my mother insisted that he scrub, after such visits. He said, I touched nothing! Still it was the scrub. And back then, there were illnesses of which one did not understand as much as one does today. In one case, I myself scrubbed before leaving an isolation ward. A nursing sister said, No, Reverend, that wasn't good enough! I scrubbed again. She said, No, Reverend ... ! OBSERVATION: I know of no minister who has come to harm.
