Oy vey. This is the number of the house which was destroyed on our block in gang warfare, earlier this year. It buckled through the heat of the blaze. Since then, the City pounced, and residents galvanised, and the situation is better -- although there was apparently an attempt to set another house alight three weeks ago. This is in Rugby, close to Woodbridge Island, Cape Town.

A few months ago I saw one of those internet list of the "Most XXX in the world", and Cape Town appeared high up on such a list of "The Most Dangerous Cities in the world"
It is, although the City takes pride in balancing its books!
