I visited the nearest print shop this morning, to print out a final draft of my book. One sees things on paper which one may miss on the screen. They didn’t want to let me in. Robbed twice, they said. OK, they said, but they could only do 13.2 by 8.2 cm (pictured). Good grief. Smaller than A6! And there’d be no binding, because the city’s in chaos you know ... Then they counted my pages by hand. One, two, three ... Collation? Ooh no. And you only have a credit card? Please come back later.
