I continue to be impressed by a "military spec" Asus Chromebook computer I bought, for about $200. This runs Linux Debian under Chrome, which means that most Linux apps are available on or for the system. The Linux functionality is not just tacked on, or partially available. It is fully integrated into the machine. OBSERVATION: There is just one hitch, however. Google religiously separates Chrome and Linux files on the computer, so that one continually runs into the Chrome-Linux divide. One must deliberately tell the computer to cross that divide. Google claims this is for security.
