Euthanasia

This post is not for sensitive souls. Through experience in ministry, I believe that euthanasia may be far more common than we imagine. Here is an example. I went to visit an old woman in hospital in Gqeberha. She had developed a death rattle, which means that she was comatose, and close to death. The doctor said that he would give her a shot of morphine. Would I please step behind the door (he left the door open). Her death rattle continued for a few more minutes. He said that he would give her another shot of morphine. Would I please step behind the door. Almost immediately, she stopped breathing, and was gone.
