
When I "retired" from ten years of ministry in my first pastorate (or third, depending how one counts), I was presented with this painting as a thank you. Mostly, it represents the
Church that we built. I recognise most congregants in the painting -- even by the backs of their heads. A much younger me is portrayed top right. Bottom centre is my original design for a Garden of Remembrance, which was however changed in the building of it. Many details here have significance. I remember how we chose the wood, the carpets, the organ, and so on.
