I recently co-wrote a review article on
Peter Hubral with British philosopher
Martin Cohen -- for The Philosopher, the journal of the
Philosophical Society of England. The thrust of Hubral's work is that we may think we have understood the ancient Greeks -- but have we? Can we get into their minds, from the early 21st Century? There are signs that we haven't understood them -- that we have misinterpreted them -- that their thought was more distant from ours than we imagine. This is a
review article, so that the views are ones which the reviewers
pass on.
