The Caledon police this week requested information from me. This morning I checked my records. Assuming that information I received from Caledon (Major Evertson) is correct, this establishes the following: I reported 21 incidents (5 cases) to Caledon. 6 incidents (2 cases) are missing, and 8 incidents (1 case) was refused. With regard to the 7 incidents which remain (2 cases) I received no feedback, except case closed (one investigation lasting three days). Raids 23-27 are current (not counted yet). 12 incidents happened elsewhere (not at Caledon). Most if not all of the "raids" (one may choose the term one prefers for them) had a special interest in my personal information:
Raid 1: Unreported (Sea Point)Mostly, I have dealt with this quietly behind the scenes, but I find no more reason to do so. I have now endured an extraordinary trail of turmoil and loss. By way of comment, Raids 16-22 was a Caledon case, refused at Cape Town. At Raids 23-27, "Partly Refused" means that the police refused to record that personal information had been targeted. OBSERVATION: In view of such a large number of incidents, I apologise if there should be any unintended errors (I am not aware of any) -- or if there should be small differences with what I have stated elsewhere. I am aware, too, that the public may have different information than the authorities. This is the information that I have.
Raid 2: Case Refused (Sea Point)
Raid 3: Unreported (Cape Town)
Raids 4-6: Docket Missing (Caledon)
Suspected Sabotage 1-2: Case Refused (Cape Town)
Raids 7-9: Case Opened (Caledon)
Raids 10-12: Case Opened (Caledon)
Definite Sabotage 3: Case Opened (Caledon)
Raids 13-15: Docket Missing (Caledon)
Raids 16-22: Case Refused (Caledon at Cape Town)
Raids 23-27: Current. Case Partly Refused (Caledon)
Incidents 28-34: Other
