This photo was taken two days ago, in the Paarl cemetery. At the graveside, I read centuries old words from a Minister's Manual. They are powerful, time-honoured words which inspire me, too. OBSERVATION: In this particular case, my opening and closing sentences were provided by the family, and they were well chosen. The opening sentences: "Truly my soul waits for God. From Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation ..." (Psalm 62). And the closing sentences: "Praise the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary. Praise Him in His mighty heavens ..." (Psalm 150).
