Death Commercialised

I have noted before on this blog how funerals have become commercialised today. I took this photo at a funeral I conducted this morning in Paarl. Here, the name and telephone numbers of undertakers are writ large on the back of a cross. OBSERVATION: The worst I came across was an undertaker who hurried around a graveside with an advertisement for his company, to ensure that it was displayed on the opposite side of the grave to where the photographer stood (that is, so that the advertisement would appear in photographs).
